I never worked at a dot com. I am a historian researching the dot com era. I am interested in the experiences of former (and current) dot com workers.     Hi. I'm new to this group too.

    I started working for dotcoms in '95, the real beginning of the boom. I've worked for many failures, seen many layoffs (mostly of other people, I usually made the cut) and have even ridden through an IPO. What do you want to know?
